iTunes Match is a pretty great service that allows you to store your music collection in the cloud. Simply subscribe for the service, and iTunes will match your music in the clouds, or upload unmatched content. Now the service has gotten better with iOS 6. It’s a full on music streaming service…
Currently in iOS 5 when browsing iTunes Match music you’re given the option to download the song from “the clouds” before you can play it. Now in iOS 6, you can simply tap on the song and it will immediately begin playing. But don’t worry you’ll have the option to choose whether it downloads or not, because obviously streaming requires an internet connection. If you want to stream your entire iTunes library, check it out here.
This is a huge step forward for iTunes Match. It makes it a great streaming service competitor now!
