A new report is out today from MacMagazine.com.br stating the latest build of iOS 6 beta for Apple TV allows the user to organize the icons on screen. This could be beneficial and allow you to organize the apps you use the most…
The feature is accessible by holding down the center Select button on the Apple TV remote for “several seconds.” Then just as in iOS you will begin to see the “wiggling icons” on the menu for Apple TV. The selected icon can then be reorganized/moved to the location of your choice. Other icons will adjust and make room for the icon you’re moving.

The lack of a touch interface is obviously desired here, but it’s good to know Apple is thinking of further customization options for Apple TV. This is something that has been long-desired.
iOS 6 beta 2 for Apple TV can be downloaded through Apple’s developer portal.
