Apple’s has added a new feature in their online store called “Answers from the community” that offers answers to common questions Apple customers have about iPads, iPhones, and Macs.
A list of top questions and popular topics are linked taking readers to dedicated pages on a variety of topics. Sometimes a single best answer is selected by Apple in other instances a collection of best answers are shown. This new section should be of better assistance for more direct questions than Apple’s support forum.
So far “Answers from the community” is only available for Macs, iPhones, and iPad questions. For some reason they have decided to leave Apple TV and iPod out of the mix.
While Apple’s customer service is already the stuff of legends “Answers from the community” seems to be another step in the right direction towards offering the best customer service in the industry.
