The iPhone 4S is coming to Alaska Communications! At 12:01 AM. local time on April 20th, Apple‘s latest model iPhone will take Alaska by storm. The iPhone 4S will also have a starting price $50 cheaper than most other current iPhone providers. As noted on the Alaska Communications website, the iPhone 4S is, “Coming Soon.”
The pricing will start at $150 for the 16 GB model, $250 for 32 GB, and $350 for 64 GB. Alaska Communications will also carry the 8 GB iPhone 4 for $50.
Alaska will carry the iPhone at all 14 retail stores in the state, as well as the companies website.
“We are delighted to offer Alaskans the best iPhone yet on Alaska’s smartest network,” said Anand Vadapalli, Alaska Communications president and CEO. “As the Smartphone experts, Alaska Communications has a range of plans to meet the needs of all Alaskans, at home and at work.”
Nationwide unlimited talk plans start at $90 with a 2 GB data plan. While adding unlimited text will bump your bill up to $101, but will also give you a smooth 5 GB’s for a data plan.
Not bad pricing if you ask me!
Update: According to MacRumors, three additional carriers were added to the list bringing the grand total of US iPhone carriers to 8!
