There’s a really simple way to backup everything you’ve installed through Cydia and send them on their happy way to iCloud or iTunes via your sync cable. All you need to do is open Cydia, Search for “OpenBackup,” and Install it. From here you can choose to backup your Cydia files, and/or download the .deb files for advanced users.
Once you’ve updated iOS and used the latest jailbreak to jailbreak your device, simply download OpenBackup again and tap the “restore” button. Most all of your settings will be restored along with your apps and tweaks.
In case you run into any trouble, Cydia does keep a running logger of your “Paid Packages.” You can simply restore those paid apps or tweaks and manually re-download the free ones.
