Apple has just released a new TV ad for the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro. There’s no denying that this MacBook is a thin and beautiful piece of technology with a beautiful screen, but I don’t think it’s that much better than the standard 13-inch model.
The ad says, “For the pro in all of us.” I believe this is Apple’s way of selling an expensive computer to a wide variety of people. I don’t think this MacBook Pro is a great buy though. The 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro is something else. I think a “Pro” level computer should at least be equip with a quad-core processor and configurable up to 16GB of RAM. In my opinion, this is where the new 13-inch Retina model misses the mark.
What do you think about the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display?
