There have been many reports that Apple is readying a cheaper iPhone. A new rumor from Digitimes suggests that Apple will be releasing a cheap iPhone made of plastic or a "chassis mixed with plastic and metal, with the internal metal parts being able to be seen from outside through special design" to keep costs down.

We had such a great time at CES 2013. There were so many gadgets and gizmos, but Apple seemed to dominate with a massive amount of iOS accessories. The funny thing is, Cupertino wasn't even there. I have to give a huge thanks to my brother Anthony for filming all of the coverage. Today I'm rolling solo on the podcast, but that doesn't stop the discussion of all the great technology and accessories we covered at CES 2013.

Seidio has a really awesome waterproof case coming for the iPhone. Meet Obex. This case has a built-in screen protector that's flush with your iPhone's screen. It's a pretty incredible case and I'm definitely a big fan of everything Seidio creates.
Apple has just reached another huge milestone in the App Store. It was recently announced that there have been 40 billion total downloads in the App Store with about half of those downloads in 2012. This is a huge accomplishment.

Streaming radio is probably one of the best ways to listen to music aside from buying a bunch of albums through iTunes. Apps like Pandora, Spotify and iHeartRadio give us the ability to create custom artist or genre playlists and listen to similar music. In my opinion, it's way better than the actual radio, but these streaming apps may soon have some stiff competition. Apple may be launching a similar service at some point this year.
