A recent set of photos and a video was just released detailing a comparison between the upcoming “iPhone 5” and the iPhone 4S…
iPhone parts vendor, ETrade Supply has recently released a video and some photos showing a few minor differences between the current generation iPhone and the rumored new iPhone. Aside from the known rumors of a centered FaceTime camera and a bigger screen, the home button is a little different.
Check out the video.
The iPhone 5’s front panel has a home button that is 0.3 mm smaller in diameter than the iPhone 4S. I’m not really sure if this means anything good or bad, but it’s certainly a notable change. Also, the margin between the screen and the bottom of the front panel is 2.6 mm shorter which makes sense due to the increase in screen size.
The new iPhone or “iPhone 5” as it has been dubbed, is expected to be released in late September or early October. The event to announce the new iPhone has a widely rumored date of September 12th, 2012.
