In jailbreak community there are only a handful of people involved that bring us the freedom and liberation of a jailbreak that we’ve come to enjoy. We hear so much about these “iOS hackers” but really who are they. Now we can finally put some faces to these names…
Meet the Chronic Dev Team. These guys are the ones behind the untethered jailbreaks we’ve been enjoying all this time. Yesterday they released the anticipated Absinthe 2.0 at the Hack in the Box conference in Amsterdam.
This allowed almost all iOS devices to enjoy an untethered jailbreak on Apple’s latest software release, iOS 5.1.1.
