Now that the iPhone rumors are starting to settle, new Mac rumors are on the rise. Apparently Apple is starting production on some new iMacs and a 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro…
I can’t say I’m shocked by this rumor. It’s only a matter of time before Apple updates all of their Macs. Though I think a 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro will definitely stir up the laptop market.
According to DigiTimes:
As for the iMac, Apple originally planned to release three new models with upgraded panels and CPUs, but due to poor yields of the panels, the mass production of the high-end model, has been postponed, without any launch schedule. The other two models – targeting the mid-range and entry-level segments – saw shipment volumes from the supply chain increase in September.
It’s important to note that DigiTime’s credibility isn’t great. Their track record has been unreliable in the past, but I can’t say that I’m surprised by this rumor.
Didn’t we all expect a new iMac and a 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro?
