Rumors of a September iPhone have been in full effect. Multiple sources confirm the rumored launch date of September 21. Now German carrier Mobilecom Debitel decided spills some beans…
According to 9to5Mac, the German carrier sent out a message to its subscribers today announcing that the new iPhone is coming in September.
Here’s a poorly translated version of the image above:
“In September, it’s finally time for a new generation of smartphone to go on sale. mobilcom-debitel allows you to find free e-mail about everything worth knowing about iPhone.”
Now just because one carrier decided to put their neck out and jump on board with the rumored date, doesn’t mean this is a legitimate offering. The new iPhone will be released whenever the heck Apple wants to release it. But I’m even growing confident of a September 21 launch date.
Apple really doesn’t give carriers any intel regarding product launches, so I highly doubt that’s the case here. They may be putting a lot on the line siding with rumors, but I think they’re more than likely going to be correct.
