Even though the iPhone 5 event is taking place next week has somewhat stole the show, iPad mini rumors are still in full swing. New 3D renderings show exactly what this rumored iPad mini might look like based on recent speculation…
MacRumors has put together a really nice 3D rendering of the tablet. The video below showcases an iPad mini in full detail. It looks pretty nice, check it out.
The site also put together an interactive rendering online. You can actually click and drag your mouse around in the browser and move this rendering to see it from all sides. It’s very cool. Click the link below to check it out!
Our interactive 3D model of the iPad mini, which requires WebGL, allows users to explore the device’s design from all angles to get a good feel for its dimensions. On OS X, Safari users can turn on WebGL by first navigating to Safari -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Show Develop menu in menu bar and then choosing the “Enable WebGL” option from the Develop menu that appears.
The iPad mini is not expected to make its debut at the iPhone 5 event next week, but likely a separate fall event possibly in October. This definitely seems like a tablet that will sell well during the holiday seasons, so I’d expect it to launch a little later this year.
