“The ony you’re holding.” Yes… that’s literally the response I received from Siri. It looks like Apple forgot a spot when they did their housecleaning earlier this week…
Previously when you’d ask Siri what the best smartphone is, you’d get a reply with Wolfram Alpha data based on Best Buy reviews, stating the Nokia Lumia 900 was the best smartphone. Apple didn’t like this too much so they went in and corrected the issue. Unfortunately Siri more than likely bases answers on common or alike phrases.
Nokia responded to Apple’s decision to alter ‘factual information’ (sarcasm), and released a statement trashing the change a couple days ago.
“Apple positions Siri as the intelligent system that’s there to help, but clearly if they don’t like the answer, they override the software,”
Though Apple says if you don’t like how Siri functions, you should just get another phone…
While I don’t think it’s completely right to go in and be able to change Siri’s responses to whatever they’d like, I think it’s funny this one came back and bit the Cupertine-giant in the Apple…
Give it a shot on your 4S. It’s funny…
