Apple and Google are back at it again and attempting to bring a safe and friendly mobile experience to your car. Android Auto and CarPlay are the two company’s re-imagining of mobile user interfaces for the car and both are gearing up for a major rollout over the next year. Each system is designed to work with its respective native mobile platform, but there are differences between the two that may appeal to different people. Today we’re comparing Apple’s CarPlay to Google’s Android Auto using the 2015 Hyundai Sonata. This car comes packed with both systems, so you won’t have to compromise either way, but there are some important differences between the two.

In case you're not familiar with it, Audiobus allows you to connect your favorite music apps and recording music between them. This technology is extremely helpful when producing music on an iOS device. As of today, two more apps from IK Multimedia have joined the Audiobus family.
Recently, I picked up the Nest Learning Thermostat in an attempt to lower my energy usage and nerd-out a bit with an iOS-compatible device. In the last couple of weeks, I've been thoroughly impressed with the performance of Nest. This thermostat has learned what I like and always adjusts itself to make my home comfortable.
The Jawbone UP is a neat little wristband that will monitor your steps and sleep. It has a 10 day battery life and is water resistant. I recently picked up one of these and decided to do a video about it. Overall, I really do like this device's form-factor and functionality.
