Samsung recently announce the Galaxy Mega series of phones. At first, I thought a 6.3-inch phone was a joke, but it's definitely real. In my opinion, Samsung is really close to having phones that are too big, but what do you think? I would look like an idiot holding an iPad mini to my face ... what's the difference?

I love the Emoji keyboard. There's nothing like sending your friend a smiling pile of poo in response to a serious question.
Why does Apple hate physical gaming controllers? It seems that any controller SDK or device never makes it mainstream. Sure, there's iCade controllers, but I'm talking about console-style gaming. Give us analog joysticks and tactile feedback.

Recently, I picked up the Nest Learning Thermostat in an attempt to lower my energy usage and nerd-out a bit with an iOS-compatible device. In the last couple of weeks, I've been thoroughly impressed with the performance of Nest. This thermostat has learned what I like and always adjusts itself to make my home comfortable.
The Jawbone UP is a neat little wristband that will monitor your steps and sleep. It has a 10 day battery life and is water resistant. I recently picked up one of these and decided to do a video about it. Overall, I really do like this device's form-factor and functionality.
