Apple Donates $2.5 Million To The Red Cross For Hurricane Sandy Relief

There’s no doubt that Hurricane Sandy caused massive destruction throughout the eastern U.S. and many people lost everything they had. It was a horrible event and I hope that the families of every affected by Sandy are safe, but it’s great to know that when the tough gets going, people are there to lend a hand.

Apple recently donated $2.5 million to the Hurricane Sandy Relief. This donation comes from many received through iTunes and also Apple’s own funds. Tim Cook recently published a letter to employees explaining the donation.
