On this week's episode, we're discussing the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8. Both of these are flagship devices, but do they pack a "wow" factor? In our opinion they don't, but is it necessary at this moment in time. If it's not broken, don't fix it. Lately, we've been seeing marginal smartphone upgrades and that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Remember the awesome Google Now launcher that came with the Nexus 5? Well ,the good news is, Google just published it on the Google Play Store. Ready for the bad new? It's only available for Nexus devices or Google Play Edition devices. Fortunately, there's an alternative method(s) to install this launcher on almost any Android device.
Samsung has announced its Galaxy S5 smartphone, and while the device definitely has a new feature set, I've noticed a lot of negative reactions on the Web. In my opinion, if it's not broken, don't fix it. Be the judge for yourself and check out my video overview above.
Today we're comparing the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 to Apple's iPad mini with Retina Display. Samsung is on the rise with its upcoming Galaxy S5, possible Galaxy Note 4, and the new Note Pro / Tab Pro 8.4 series tablets.
Meet the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. This is Samsung's answer to the iPad mini with Retina Display. The Tab Pro 8.4 is a great device, but if you'd like to see more, check out my video above.
Google's Nexus 5 is a very interesting device. It's built to rise above the competition at a much lower price point than we're used to seeing from off contract smartphones. Starting at $349, is the Nexus 5 the most "bang for your buck?" Check out my video review to find out.
Meet Moto G. Quite possibly the best cheap smartphone you can buy. This smartphone is available for $179 off contract for the 8GB model. If 8GB isn't enough, you can get the 16GB version for only $199. It's a pretty epic deal for a full-on smartphone. Check out the video overview and benchmark test above.
Moto X is the latest flagship smartphone from Motorola. This amazing little device will set you back $499 off-contract, but in my opinion, it's definitely a worthy purchase. It may not be as cheap as its competition, Google's Nexus 5, but this phone makes up for that in features and custom designs.
