Dropbox 1.5 For iOS Is Now Available! Automatic Camera Uploads, Batch File Actions, And More…

Everyone’s favorite cloud storage service just updated their iOS app today. Dropbox 1.5 is now available in the App Store with a few new features to make your iPhone / iPad cloud storage life a bit easier…

The newest version of Dropbox allows you to automatically upload photos from your camera roll to Dropbox. So that means right after you take a picture with your iPhone / iPad / iPod, it will be available on Dropbox or a connected computer. Pretty darn useful if you ask me. Also by using this feature, Dropbox will reward you with up to an extra 3GB of cloud space! The extra space comes in 500MB increments depending on how much you upload through the app.

Also with the update comes batch file actions. Having the ability to change/move multiple files at once is a big help for me. I rely on my Dropbox storage a lot. Adding more efficient ways to manage that space from my iPhone is a great idea!

Check out the changes:

What’s New in Version 1.5

  • Automatically upload photos and videos using Wi-Fi or cellular data plan
  • Earn up to 3 GB of extra free space for uploading photos automatically (in 500 MB increments)
  • See all the photos and videos you’ve uploaded to Dropbox in Gallery view
  • Move and delete sets of files at once
  • Upload files of any size

You can get Dropbox free in the App Store now! If you want your own FREE cloud storage sign up for Dropbox here, and they’ll give you 2GB of space completely FREE!

What a deal right?
