With the release of iOS 6, Siri gains many new features. At WWDC 2012, Apple demonstrated many of these exciting features. I’ve since decided to throw most of the features together in a hands-on video and show you how to use Siri in iOS 6…
The update is out now! You can download it from iTunes or on your device today!
Some of the new features for Siri in iOS 6 are:
- Rotten Tomatoes integration
- Sports Statistics
- App Launching
- Tweeting
- Posting to Facebook
As you can see this definitely expands the Siri horizon and enables you to do so much more with your favorite personal assistant. Siri is also on the new iPad in iOS 6. If you’re interested to see how it’s integrated, be sure to check out the hands-on video for Siri on the new iPad.
Overall I think Siri for iOS 6 is a great upgrade to what was already a good start.
To update your device, go to Settings > General > Software Update.
