It was first reported early last month that the new film “jOBS” starring Ashton Kutcher would make its debut at the Sundance Film Festival this month. Now, the folks behind the film have revealed an April release date.
9to5Mac reports:
According to MovieWeb.com, Open Road Films has partnered with Five Star Feature Film to distribute the film in the United States. The deal was announced by Open Roads Film CEO Tom Ortenberg and Five Star Feature Films’ Mark Hulme. Hulme noted to MovieWeb that his company “set out to find the perfect partners to present jOBS to audiences worldwide,” and he said they found one with Open Road.
“jOBS is certain to resonate with audiences and we are thrilled to partner with Five Star Feature Films to bring this film to theaters,” added Ortenberg.
It’s exciting to know that this may actually hit a theater in my area. I’ll definitely be going to see this movie. I’m very curious to find out how well Ashton plays the part of young Steve Jobs. Either way, I’m sure it will be an exciting film to watch.
