While the rest of the world is banking on a September 21 release of the next-generation iPhone, Sprint’s new training document hints that it could hit their network in October…
What does this mean for the rest of us? Not much really. This leaked training document doesn’t provide any hard factual information surrounding any launch. It simply states that Sprint will be stepping up its iPhone support by October 15. Really this is nothing to get worked up over.
Though I think it would be hilarious if we all learned that October 15 was the release date next week at the iPhone keynote. But likely, this is just Sprint taking initiative to improve their support.
Alternatively, this could mean that Sprint is getting a lazy roll-out of the iPhone 5. Could another carrier get exclusive launch rights for the iPhone when it’s released?
The document makes no note of an “iPhone 5,” so it’s safe to say that this is probably just people getting flustered for no reason.
Carry on people.
