Rumored iPad 3 Digitizer Picture shows very little changes to iPad 2

Yet another “leaked” picture of iPad 3 parts hhas graced us with its presence once again.

This time it’s the supposed Digitizer which is the front panel that lays over the iPad’s physical screen.

The rumored digitizer shows very little changes to the iPad 2. The real only different between the two is the ribbon connector cable which is a bit longer and extends in the opposite direction. The new rumored picture comes from Sina Weibo, a Chinese micro-blogging site. Check out the picture below.

MacRumors reported,

A separate posting from the same blogger claims that the A5X system-on-a-chip seen in a leaked photo has a dual-core processor and that the iPad 3 will support Siri. The report also claims that the iPad 3 will launch with iOS 5.1 and a rear camera capable of recording 1080p video. Finally, the posting says that the iPad 3 will launch in the U.S. in mid-March with France, Germany, Japan, and the UK to follow in April. Other markets including China and Hong Kong should see the device launch by June 1. The reliability of that report is, however, unknown.

Though this is all speculation, it’s still quite interesting to see. No one will really know what components are the essential “puzzle pieces” to the iPad 3 until Apple unveils the next generation tablet. Hopefully on March 7th we’ll find out more about the iPad 3, which is the date that has been recently rumored for the iPad 3’s announcement. One thing is certain, I’m sure the leaked photos will keep on rolling in until that special day of the announcement, whenever it may be…
