Tim Cook Says Apples Has a “pipeline full of stuff”

Apple had a conference call today on the companies extra cash. They had made it very clear that the conference call was strictly about the plans for their surplus of cash. Well, that didn’t stop one member of the press from inquiring on Apple’s product “pipeline”.

The man asked Tim to elaborate on his statement from the iPad keynote about there being ” a lot to look forward to in 2012″.

Tim Cook cleverly fired back, “we do love to announce new products, we just don’t do it in conference calls.” Cook went on to say that Apple has a “pipeline full of stuff” and that he is “extremely confident in our future”. Those are some big statements. You can listen to the entire conference call here.

Kind of exciting if you ask me…

It’s no shocker that Apple will be around for a while. I’m just interested to see what kind of new and exciting products they intend on releasing. Can they top what they’ve put out already? Is this “pipeline” just refreshed, reiterations, of old products like we recently saw with the new iPad? Only time will tell.

One thing is for sure the next 12 months or so should bring some exciting new Apple gadgets our way.

What do you think Apple has in the “pipeline”?
