Following the long awaited release of Absinthe 2.0, FireCore has now released Seas0nPass for iOS 5.0.1 that will allow an untethered jailbreak on your Apple TV 2…FireCore posted this new exciting news on their blog this morning.
Today we are happy to release a brand new version of Seas0nPass that provides an untethered jailbreak of the latest 5.0.1 (iOS 5.1.1) software for the 2nd gen Apple TV. Massive thanks goes to @pod2g and Co. for the countless hours that went into making this new release possible.

You can download Seas0nPass on FireCore’s website today! But remember you’ll still need to perform this jailbreak with a computer. Currently there’s still no word on jailbreaking the Apple TV 3.
